HYDRAULIC HELM PUMPS: All the components of Mavimare pumps are obtained through an industrialized working process to ensure the best quality and reliability of the product. Mavimare hydraulic steering kits are supplied with a square bezel kit, allowing for easy retrofitting of the pump into the helm. The kit also includes hoses with pressed fittings on one end, high quality corrosion resistant fittings, hydraulic oil and everything you need to bleed the system. Selecting an Outboard hydraulic steering system
When installing an outboard engine on a boat, it is important to determine the maximum horsepower generated by the engine. For two engines operating in the same rotational direction, the power of both engines is combined. However, when using two engines with counter-rotation, only the power of one motor should be considered.
Here are a few examples:

To ensure quick installation and enhance navigation safety, all Mavimare hydraulic steering systems come equipped with fittings already securely pressed onto the hoses. Mavimare's single cylinders, up to 300 hp, can operate a twin outboard motor installation. If both propellers rotate in the same direction, the total combined output of the engines should not exceed 300 hp. However, if the motors have counter-rotating propellers, the maximum combined power can be extended to 600 hp.
Mavimare's G.12 mechanical steering helms are meticulously crafted with an ingenious planetary gear design. This innovative system comprises a central gear and three satellite gears that rotate on their axes while orbiting the central helm axis. This unique arrangement ensures the equitable distribution of engine torque across the central gear, effectively splitting and balancing the loads within the system.
