Every RUBEX stainless steel or aluminium boat propeller has a rubber interchangeable hub system (ordered separately). It is designed to eliminate chatter and vibration that competitive hub systems are prone to. Being rubber, the RUBEX hub has no plastics to deteriorate. It can deflect 10% for softer shifting and to reduce propshaft shock when the propeller strikes a submerged object. The RUBEX hub will not spin in the propeller.
Each RUBEX Hub Kit comes with the hardware needed to install the propeller on the propshaft. Unlike competitive hubs, the prop nut does not require periodic re-torquing on a RUBEX propeller system.
NOTE: Hub Kit sold separately. See Rubex Hub Kit Application Chart

Question: Hi there I would like to discuss with someone this prop. choice for my boat. I have a Magnum 1800 ski boat with a 175 Suzuki with a 22" pitch prop. which we use for skiing in Wanaka, Central Otago Lakes. I have recently hade the prop repaired by Propeller Services after an accident (a car ran into the back of my boat). The prop came back looking great, but we now find it is bogging getting out of the hole. its not slipping it just bites, but it feels like I'm starting in second gear, top end speed is fantastic but second gear starts are not ideal for skiing. I suspect the prop might of been detuned (if possible) which worked well but after the repair it been re set at the factory 22". So here I am looking at the Solas 4 blade 21'.

Hi,

This prop will suit the application
