BP8H-N-10 = Standard version.
BPZ8H-N-10 = “Z” type, more resistant to fouling, often OEM for Mercury/Mariner, Yamaha, and other 2-stroke outboards.
They can sometimes be swapped, but if your engine specifically calls for the BPZ8H-N-10, it’s best to stick with that one — it’s less prone to carbon fouling at idle and low RPMs.
