Question: Hi, in your previous answer to my question is: [you need 0432955. We do not have genuine in stock, but have Sierra alternate. 18-3387 comes without a housing, 18-3389 comes with housing] I checked both and I see the impeller housing plate is different from the original (old) one I have on my Johnson outboard model J70TLCRD, the original has a small hole close to the main hole for the shaft but the one you are listing has no hole and the semicircular relief notch in the original is larger then the new one it’s about twice the length, I wish if I can post an image to show the difference. Q1) Can you please confirm if this will fit Johnson outboard model J70TLCRD? Q2) Do you think the difference may affect the impeller performance on the long run? Thanks

Sorry, your correct, thanks for checking. Your model range falls right in the change over of water pumps. If your motor is the small block 70hp ( you can tell as it will a two peace cylinder head with a removeable water jacket cover) it will use the pump 0438602
