40.098 Color Matched Paint for Yamaha Outboards. - 4D 1994 & up
This paint is for any and all Yamaha’s from 1994 and up till today (4D paint code)

TK spray paints for Yamaha Outboards are designed for painting metal surfaces exposed to the marine environment. Touch up repaint your Yamaha outboards gearbox, midsection or engine cowling. TK paints are formulated with high quality resins and pigments, which guarantee excellent adhesion, high resistance to corrosion and long-lasting shine. These spray paints are easy to apply and dry quickly, allowing you to reduce working times, they are also resistant to impacts, abrasion, temperature and UV rays, guaranteeing long-lasting protection over time. TK COLORSPRAY is available in the original colors of the most popular inboard and outboard marine engines.

INSTRUCTIONS
Shake before use for approximately 3 minutes and spray to test. In dry weather, spray at a distance of about 25 cm. several times with light hands. After use, turn the cylinder upside down and press the valve to clean it. Removable with acetone and/or nitro thinner.

Note - for 1983 - 1993 with EK Paint code, use 40.051

Hi, the best primer to use is the TK two-pack primer. It is specially formulated with a two-part mixing design. Once mixed, it should be used within 24 hours. Click here to learn more. Thanks!

Question: Hi, I have a Yamaha 2015 150 HP 4 stroke outboard. The top cowling has a few scratches in one area which i want to tidy up. Is this the correct paint for that outboard. I will need a priming paint as well. can you please give me a price for both shipped to chch. Cheers, Daryl.

Hi, yes that is the correct paint for you motor. We have a few primer options available, they can be viewed here. Our most recommended primer is the Two-Pack TK Primer. Shipping to CHCH is $9.5 incl GST.
